Here’s another little sample from the mini comic I made for Oily Comics.
I drew a mini comic for Chuck Forsman’s comic book publishing ring, Oily Comics. I am very happy to have a comic published by Chuck, he’s a nice guy and an awesome cartoonist. My issue won’t be out until closer to Springtime, but here is a teaser of the cover drawing (although it will be printed in black and white):
I would recommend checking out other titles on the Oily site. For a limited time you can also become an Oily Comics subscriber, which you can learn more about right here:
Here is a series of 30 portraits I made for the upcoming special edition of Linework 4, which will be out around May. It’s all tentative so far, but it looks like there will be a limited edition of 30 that come with a bundle of prints and/or original drawings by the likes of Ivan Brunetti, Sanya Glisic, Kevin Budnik, Paul Nudd, and several others. My contribution will be one of these original drawings in every special edition.
I’d like to set up something on this website for commissioned portraits at a very reasonable price, but for now if anyone is interested, please feel free to e-mail me.
Here are a few more pictures of the portrait set:
I’m still here. I’ve been working on comics that I don’t want to share just yet. Here are a few preparatory drawings for a new story I’m starting on.
Last month myself and a few other recent graduates of the illustration program at Columbia College were asked to paint individual murals in one of their galleries for freshman orientation. My theme was ‘Parent’s Weekend.’ The other muralists were David Alvarado, Kevin Budnik, Solange Henson, Yael Orellano, Pete Clodfelter, and Erik Lundquist. Here are some photos of my mural courtesy of Erik Lundquist:
My first proper self portrait. My first blog post in a long time. I have been working on stuff, just nothing I’d like to put on the internet yet.
Linework #3 is out. You can go here for all the information: http://linework-anthology.blogspot.com/

Here’s a teaser of the Linework 3 cover. This issue will be upwards of 100 pages, about 35-40 contributors in all. Kevin Budnik and I will selling the book at the Chicago Alternative Comics Expo, June 16th and 17th. I’ll keep updating about this in the coming months with a full list of contributors, and possibly some work samples.
