My first proper self portrait. My first blog post in a long time. I have been working on stuff, just nothing I’d like to put on the internet yet.
Linework #3 is out. You can go here for all the information: http://linework-anthology.blogspot.com/

Here’s a teaser of the Linework 3 cover. This issue will be upwards of 100 pages, about 35-40 contributors in all. Kevin Budnik and I will selling the book at the Chicago Alternative Comics Expo, June 16th and 17th. I’ll keep updating about this in the coming months with a full list of contributors, and possibly some work samples.
I haven’t been updating regularly for awhile, partially because WordPress has been finicky about some of the images I try to upload, partially because I was finishing up my last semester of school.
My goal is to set up a new site as a straight portfolio showcase type deal, and move the blog on over to Blogger.
Kevin Budnik and I are gearing up for the third issue of Linework, which will be finished around April. It looks like this issue will have upwards of 40 contributors, and over 100 pages of comics.
That’s a kind of stupid music video I made for class.
That’s a drawing I made for my portfolio book. I’m graduating in two weeks, so I’ll have to wait until then to catch up on posting new stuff.
Hey. I just finished coloring a new strip this morning. I’m hesitant to put any of this new stuff on the web since I’m not sure what will become of it yet, but for now it couldn’t hurt to post a comic page that will play as a sort of prologue in a longer string of stories I’m working on. It doesn’t make sense out of context, but it will, God willing. Here it is:
The strip I finished this morning is called ‘The Beard,’ which will appear in an upcoming anthology called ‘Vacuum Horror,’ edited by my friend Max Morris. Here’s a blurb about it:
Bonus: Here are some pictures from my drawing ‘studio’:

A gorgeous Little Nemo book I got from the Sunday Press table at Comic-Con (note the size compared to a Micron pen):
Oh, and Mome 22 is out, the one with my strip in it. It’s a great lookin’ book.
That’s about it. Phew!
